Your vines from Domaine de la Dame are situated in the vineyards of Chateau les Court les Mûts, in Saussignac, in the southwest of Bergerac. Among wine enthusiasts it is better known as the region behind Bordeaux. It even borders Saint Emilion, one of the most beautiful wine areas of Bordeaux.
The grape varieties used are the same as those used for Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The soil where they grow is also very similar, consisting of limestone and clay.
In addition to red wine (from the leased vines) they also produce many other wines on their vineyards such as white wine, both sweet and dry.
It is possible to visit Chateau les Court les Mûts by appointment only. This is so that we can take the time to give you a guided tour and arrange some wine tasting.
Jazz concerts are also organized in the wine cellar. It is even possible to help with the harvesting and pressing the grapes with your own hands and feet!
